State Water Corporation delivers bulk water in regional and rural NSW, to all authorised users such as river pumpers, irrigation companies, towns, farms, mines and electricity generators. We also deliver water for the environment as well as unlicensed stock and domestic users on regulated rivers.
We take 'water orders' from customers and make releases from our 21 dams and regulate flows by means of 280 weirs and regulators. We meter customers' water usage and recover our costs subject to independently set prices.
State Water is a wholly state owned corporation, based in Dubbo and 46 other locations in NSW and border towns.
